From the Fall of Man to the Coming of the Son of Man, so is the Greatest Story ever told in History and Reality

Once upon a time, in a desert vast and wide, God's chosen people wandered, with faith as their guide. From Egypt (Psalm 78:13) they had fled, seeking freedom's light, Led by Moses (Isaiah 18:2), under stars so bright (Daniel 12:3). In their hunger and their need, God's mercy was shown (Luke 1:78), With manna from heaven, like nothing they had known (Hebrews 9:4).

This bread from the sky, each morning it lay, A reminder of God's provision (Psalm 81:10), day by day (Lamentations 3:22-23). Yet, human hearts waver, and memories fade (Jeremiah 17:9), The miraculous manna, they soon betrayed. They grumbled and wished for the food of their chains, (Revelation 2:14) Forgetting their deliverance, and ignoring their gains (Hosea 4:15; 5:8; 10:5).

Then came the serpents (Revelation 12:9), with venom so fierce (Numbers 21:6-9), Their bites a reminder (Hebrews 2:14, 18), their consciences pierced (1 John 3:8). But God, in His mercy, provided a way: A bronze serpent on high, their fears to allay (John 3:14-15). Look upon it, He said, and healing you'll find (Luke 18:42), A test of their faith (Genesis 24:2), a call to mankind (Matthew 24:31).

Centuries passed (Galatians 3:1-5), and the story grew old (2 Kings 18:4), Until the Son of Man came (John 1:51), as the prophets foretold (Hebrews 1:1–2). "I am the bread of life," He declared, (John 6:31-35) "The true manna from heaven, for you, I have shared” (Joshua 5:12). On the cross, He was lifted, for all to see, (Matthew 27:32-37) The Son of Man crucified, for you and me (1 John 4:2).

The word ‘Nehushtan’ carries a Hebrew pun. ‘NChSh’ denotes ‘serpent’, while ‘ThN’ relates to ‘dragon’, linking the object to both earthly and mythical realms, (Bel and the Dragon 1:23-26: "Now in that place, there was a great dragon, which the Babylonians revered. And the king said to Daniel, ‘You cannot deny that this is a living god; so worship him.’ Daniel said, ‘I will worship the Lord, my God, for he is the living God. But if you, O king will give me permission, I will slay the dragon without sword or club.") He bore our sins (Romans 6:23), our serpent of brass (James 4:17), A symbol of healing (Psalm 103:2-3), for all who would pass (Jeremiah 17:14). His resurrection (Hosea 3:5), the power over death (Matthew 22:32), Promised eternal life (Deuteronomy 33:27), with every breath (John 17:3). But history repeats, (Ecclesiastes 1:9) with idols anew, (Judges 10:14) A "White Jesus"(Joel 1:7) on crosses, in pews, they grew (Revelation 9:20).

Like the bronze serpent (Exodus 7:10-12), once a sign of God's grace (Exodus 15:26), These images became idols (Colossians 3:5), taking God's place (John 4:24). Then came the challenge (Malachi 3:13-15), like Elijah of old (1 Kings 18:37), Who faced the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:38), so bold (Philemon 1:8). With fire from heaven (Hebrews 12:29), God's power was shown (Psalms 104:4), The idols and false prophets (Psalm 9:16), overthrown (Isaiah 14:16).

Today, we stand at a crossroads again (Jonah 2:8), Where idols of modernity (1 Samuel 15:23), our hearts try to win (1 Corinthians 6:13)( Bethel; Hebrew: means “House of God” or “House of El”. It is an ancient Israelite city and a holy place frequently mentioned in the Hebrew Bible). But God's fire still burns (Zechariah 3:5), an altar on earth (Isaiah 19:19), Calling His people to a spiritual rebirth (Ezekiel 37:3). Yehoshua, the bread of life (John 6:50-51), our manna divine (Exodus 16:31), Offers Himself (Matthew 12:7), across the span of time. (Hebrews 9:11-14)

Rome's conquests and idols(Maccabees 6:1-11: "Not long after this, the king sent an Athenian senator to force the Jews to abandon the laws of their ancestors and live no longer by the laws of God. The senator’s mission was also to profane the temple in Jerusalem and dedicate it to Olympian Zeus. Additionally, the temple on Mount Gerizim was to be dedicated to Zeus the Host to Strangers, as the local inhabitants were accustomed to doing.), they come and they go (Daniel 12:1), But Christ's kingdom eternal (Revelation 22:5), forever will grow (2 Esdras Chapter 13:12 Afterward saw I the same man come down from the mountain and call unto him another peaceable Multitude. 13 And there came many people unto him, whereof some were glad, some were sorry, and some of them were bound, and other some brought of them that were offered: then was I sick through great fear, and I awaked, and said…). The prophecy of old, in Genesis 3:15 laid, "The serpent's head crushed,” (Romans 16:20) the price fully paid (1 Peter 1:18-19). THE LORD (Jeremiah 11:12), our Saviour(1 John 4:14), the serpent's defeat(Isaiah 27:1), At the cross (Revelation 12:9-10), where justice and mercy meet.( Ecclesiastes 3:17) (Amos 5:24)

Now(Hosea 12:6), the fire of the altar is here to consume (Nahum3:15) The idols we've made (Revelation 13:18), in every room (psalms 31:6). It's time to return (Proverbs 21:15), to worship the Lord (1 Chronicles 16:29), Not images or symbols (Ezekiel 16:26), but the living Word(John 1:1). For God is a consuming fire (Ezekiel 10:6-7), so pure (2 Samuel 22:6), Calling us back(2 King 1:10), with love to allure (Job 28:5).

Let us look to The Lamb (Revelation 7:17), the author of our faith (Genesis 28:15), Who for the joy set before Him (Jeremiah 29:11), endured the cross (Matthew 16:24), its wraith (Micah 6:8). He sits at the right hand of God (Mark 14:62), above (Lamentation 1:13), Sending forth His Spirit(Revelation 11:5), like a dove (Leviticus 5:7). To gather His people (Isaiah 11:12), from east and west (Ezekiel 11:17), In Him alone (John 14:6), we find our rest.

Genesis 2:2-3, Matthew 11:28-30, Revelation 22:16

MANNA.

The Lord Told me, EAT.
